This is our go to salad and dressing, which you can throw together while someone is setting the table. My favorite way to make this dressing (or any dressing) is to put all of the ingredients into a small jar with a lid and shake it well. Once you get the hang of it, you can switch up the vinegars, oils and spices and make it your own!
Ingredients
- 4 Cups Lettuce your choice
- 1 pint Cherry tomatoes sliced in half
- 1 Cucumber sliced into half moons
- 1 Red Pepper cut into bite sized pieces
- 1/2 Cup Red onion thinly sliced
- Extras: sliced hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, olives
Balsamic Dressing
- 1/2 Cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 shake black pepper
- 1 shake dried basil or oregano
- 1/2 tsp Dill weed, fry
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder

- Mix all of salad ingredients together. Place dressing ingredients into a small glass jar. Shake well and pour over green salad!
